Rolling Stone Magazine: OH-15 Key to Taking Back Congress

The October 19th issue of Rolling Stone Magazine is not online as yet. However, if you happen to hit the magazine rack, check the article on page 59. The article, Taking Back Congress, lists those races that the Democrats must win to get back the majority. Included as a key race ------- Ohio's 15th District. The author, Tim Dickinson, makes these key points:

>..Pryce not only spearheded Bush's effort to privatize Social Security, she also benefited from at least ten fund-raisers hosted by disgraced lobbyist Jack Abramoff...
>...Pryce is ommitting her party affiliation from her campaign ads...
>...Iraq where the war has killed or wounded nearly a third of the soldiers in the Marine reserve unit stationed in Columbus.

In today's mail I also received campaign literature from the Democratic candidate for Ohio's 15th district, Mary Jo Kilroy. The material states the following about Republican Deborah Pryce:

*Pryce ran up the largest deficit in history
*Pryce would jeopardize Social Security
*Pryce voted to raise the debt ceiling 5 times in 5 years (in 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005, and 2006).
*Pryce supports $85 billion in subsidies to big oil.

As you can tell, Ohio's 15th district has a very, very hot campaign.
