Kasich's Plans for the Unemployed and HIS Lobbyists

The Tribune Chronicle from Warren, Ohio, is reporting about a visit by Republican John Kasich.  In front of a small crowd of only one hundred, Kasich did not offer any solutions for those who are unemployed.  In what appears to be one of Kasich's ordinary stump speeches, Kasich failed to mention how he'd help those without jobs.

Tribune Chronicle:

....Regarding unemployment, Kasich said if he is elected, he will emphasize on-the-job training for people who are working so they can improve their skills and help Ohio compete in the global economy. He said the current administration emphasizes retraining and education for people who are unemployed so they can find another job.

"We need to keep them off the unemployment line in the first place," Kasich said....

Am I to believe that Kasich doesn't care if you don't have a job now?  Does he not believe in retraining those who are out of work to help them improve their skills?  Do we have evidence that John Kasich is completely clueless as to how to put all of the jobless back to work?

Of course, Kasich uses the same words again, "We need to get the lobbyists and special interest snouts out of the public trough. We need to run Ohio from the bottom up, not the top down," Kasich said....

I guess if they are his friends/contacts who are lobbyists, then that is okay by Kasich.  Earlier this year, two friends of Kasich's, Tom Scully and Jim Conzelman, were part of a group that threw a fundraiser for Kasich (see TPMMuckraker).

According to the website, Follow the Money, the Kasich-Taylor campaign has enjoyed the campaign money coming from these Lawyers & Lobbyists:

KEATING MUETHING & KLEKAMP, JONES DAY, BRICKER & ECKLER, SQUIRE SANDERS & DEMPSEY, KOHRMAN JACKSON & KRANTZ, BENESCH FRIEDLANDER COPLAN & ARONOFF,  FROST BROWN TODD LLC, ROETZEL & ANDRESS,  BAKER & HOSTETLER, VORYS SATER SEYMOUR & PEASE, DINSMORE & SHOHL, CHESTER WILLCOX & SAXBE, THOMPSON HINE LLP, PECK SHAFFER, KEGLER BROWN HILL & RITTER, SCHOTTENSTEIN ZOX & DUNN, BLANK ROME LLP, KING & SPALDING, TAFT STETTINIUS & HOLLISTER, THOMPSON COBURN LLP, WILLIAMS & JENSEN, BOCKORNY GROUP, KIRKLAND & ELLIS, etc.

Are these "Lawyers & Lobbyists" contributors to the Kasich-Taylor campaign, to be excluded from, as Kasich calls them, "....the lobbyists and special interest snouts...."?????  These Lawyer and Lobbyists have provided Kasich Taylor with over $377,000 in contributions.  With that kind of money contributed to his campaign, Kasich's lobbyists will enjoy great access, if he is elected.

Plunderbund mentioned this quote from Kasich, as reported at WKBN:

"....We just have to stop being lazy and sloppy, and we've got to be focused."

Kasich has called Ohioans "lazy and sloppy" and this is supposed to help him get votes?  I'm not "lazy and sloppy" and I know you are not "lazy and sloppy."

Kasich is living up to people's opinions that he is an arrogant, out of touch, jerk.
