Romney and the Republicans

•  Sometimes you just want to yell, "Stop lying!"  Unfortunately, not everyone, especially RomneyRyan and the Republican candidates won't hear it.

DetroitFreePress:

Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney falsely claimed Thursday night that Chrysler Group may move all Jeep vehicle production to China, drawing criticism from the Obama campaign, which said the Michigan native had blatantly skewed a news wire story....

....“I saw a story today that one of the great manufacturers in this state, Jeep, now owned by the Italians, is thinking of moving all production to China,” Romney said during a rally in Defiance, Ohio, before 12,000 cheering supporters, according to several reports. “I will fight for every good job in America, I’m going to fight to make sure trade is fair, and if it’s fair, America will win.”

Here is how Gualberto Ranieri, VP of Chrysler communications, responded, as reported in the DetroitFreePress:

“Let’s set the record straight: Jeep has no intention of shifting production of its Jeep models out of North America to China,” Ranieri said. “It’s simply reviewing the opportunities to return Jeep output to China for the world’s largest auto market. U.S. Jeep assembly lines will continue to stay in operation.”

Romney will lie just to get elected.

RomneyRyan and the Republicans think women don't care about the GOP's policies concerning birth control and abortion.  They are wrong. Women do not want to give up birth control, IUD's, access to reproductive counseling, female diagnostic testing, and safe abortion.  Republicans and RomneyRyan want to "get rid of" Planned Parenthood, the largest provider of women's health care in the country.

TheNation:

...more than 90 percent of abortions—possibly many more—would be illegal under the standard Governor Romney sets forth for federal and state policy.
And take into account that Romney has pledged to appoint Supreme Court justices who would overturn Roe vs. Wade. His party platform supports state laws that impose mandatory waiting periods, restrictive clinic regulations, a human life amendment, and other measures designed to hinder abortion access and to hinder providers’ efforts to dispense these services.....

....Ironically, Governor Romney supports measures that would restrict access to effective contraception, which would thus probably increase unintended pregnancies. He supports the Blunt Amendment, which would allow employers to drop contraceptive coverage. He also proposes to overturn the Affordable Care Act, which contains many provisions designed to guarantee women’s access to effective contraception through both public and private insurance coverage. In fact, the Affordable Care Act’s generous contraceptive coverage is likely to reduce both the incidence of unintended pregnancy and the number of abortions. One-third of US women who use reversible contraception (such as the Pill) would switch to even more reliable methods if they did not have to worry about cost....

> Richard Mourdock, RomneyRyan, Joe Walsh, Todd Akin, and Josh Mandel are the most notable Republicans that are against all abortions.  However, there are more Republicans to add to the list. HuffPost has a list of Republicans who are against abortion, even if the woman was raped or a victim of incest. The HuffPost list includes: Richard Mourdock, Todd Akin, Ted Cruz, Pete Hoekstra, Josh Mandel, Dean Heller, and..... read the article at Huffington Post.

* Donald Trump is a "huge" Romney supporter. David Letterman points out to Donald Trump that his ties are made in China. CBS YouTube:

Thank you, David Letterman, for showing Trump's hypocrisy.
