President Obama

In case you missed it----- President Obama was the winner of last night's debate. President Obama demonstrated his knowledge of issues, support for pay equity, his wisdom in foreign policy, and his ability to understand the struggles of the middle class, students, senior citizens, women as head of households, and families.

NY Times:

...With some polls offering sporadic evidence that Mr. Romney is gaining support among women in the final weeks of the campaign, the president seized every opportunity during their face-off at Hofstra University on Long Island to assert that Mr. Romney, the Republican candidate, would eliminate financing for women’s health services, block access to contraceptives, oppose equal pay and undermine the economic recovery for families in which women are the breadwinners.

“This is not just a women’s issue,” Mr. Obama said during an exchange about equal pay for women in the workplace. “This is a family issue. This is a middle-class issue. And that’s why we’ve got to fight for it.”

Romney just doesn't get it. Romney, the guy building a car elevator for his beach home in California, doesn't understand or care that women make far less than men in the same jobs. Women are the heads of households, struggling to put food on the table and a roof over the heads of their children.  When women have success and better pay in the workplace, their children's ability to succeed increases. Romney's advisers are primarily men---- right wing neo-cons left over from the Bush administration. These guys are unable and unwilling to view women as part of the business world, and are more concerned with preparing for the next neo-con war.

For a better future for women, and our children, we must vote for ObamaBiden and Democrats.

OpenSecrets notes that the Ohio Senate race shows a real difference between the sources of campaign contributions of Sen. Sherrod Brown, and his Republican opponent, Mandel.

OpenSecrets................................ Instate ........... Out of State
Sen. Sherrod Brown (D) ............ 62% ................. 38% .....
Josh Mandel (R) ......................... 47% ....................  54% ....

It makes you wonder why people from outside Ohio are supporting Josh Mandel. Aren't they aware of his lack of attendance for his job as Ohio Treasure, and his hiring of cronies, frat friends, and lobbyists' kids?
