***  Republican Rep. Joe Walsh (IL-8th) said this about his opponent, Tammy Duckworth, a Democrat--(ThinkProgress):



Lt. Col. Tammy Duckworth, an Iraq veteran, is a double amputee and a former Black Hawk helicopter pilot. Duckworth is on The Ed Show on MSNBC right now.  She said that our military veterans have accomplished more in one day than Walsh has in his whole life.
