Romney Hood? Love it!

* Have you seen the Twitter Political Index?  It provides some good insight into the race for President--- https://election.twitter.com/

•••••  President Obama explains the Mitt Romney tax plan on this CNN video:

If you are a baby boomer, you probably remember the 1950's Robin Hood series featuring Richard Greene that had the following theme song--

Robin Hood, Robin Hood, riding through the glen,
Robin Hood, Robin Hood, with his band of men,
Feared by the bad, loved by the good,
Robin Hood, Robin Hood, Robin Hood.

We could update those lyrics to reflect our views of "Romney Hood" -----

Romney Hood, Romney Hood, outsourcing businessman,
Romney Hood, Romney Hood, with his neo-con men,
Helping the rich, Put his dog on the hood,
Romney Hood, Romney Hood, Romney Hood.

> OMG! The sign that the Ohio Republican nominee for U.S. Senate is not qualified has been revealed!!!!  Josh Mandel, Ohio's absent Ohio Treasurer, has been endorsed by Sarah Palin. Palin and Mandel are after the same low information voters that watch Fox News and believe the network's right wing propaganda.

A new ad by Josh Mandel, Ohio Republican and inattentive Treasurer, has him using information that has already been debunked. Mandel tries to suggest, he'll be an independent, and willing to go against GOP leaders, but we know better.  When he was in the Ohio General Assembly, Mandel voted the Republican Party line 95.5% of the time.  Any suggestion that Mandel has any new ideas, or any fresh thinking is pure poppycock.  Mandel's speeches, website, and ads are nothing more than the same Republican talking points we've heard for years from the Republican right wingers:
more tax cuts for the wealthy/job creators, "reform"* Social Security and Medicare, cut all environmental regulations, take away women's reproductive rights, restrict voting times, support failing charter schools, etc., etc., etc.

Let me explain that notation about the Republican plan to "reform"* Social Security and Medicare.  When Republicans use the word "reform" it really means they want to cut, gut, privatize, hand out vouchers, and totally destroy Social Security and Medicare.
