More than 20 people lost their jobs at Glatfelter last week after a reorganization of the company’s Ohio operations.

It’s not clear from the company’s official comments whether all the layoffs were concentrated at the Chillicothe location or if some of the employees were based at the company’s Fremont location.

All of the employees were non-union, salaried personnel....

Nearly 5,000 Ohio workers were sent to the unemployment line in group layoffs in September, Columbus Business First reported.

That's more than three times the number who filed an initial claim for unemployment insurance from such large-scale cuts a year ago, the Bureau of Labor Statistics reported Tuesday.....

Gov. Kasich must be doing something wrong.  If he is giving away all this state money in tax breaks to corporations, why are will still having layoffs?
