What do you think?
There is a discussion going on in the comment section of an article about Josh Mandel's less than honorable campaign. Joe Hallett of the right wing Columbus Dispatch says that Josh Mandel still has time to clean up his act to turn away from his negative campaign. The comments below the article hint that no matter what, the Dispatch will still endorse Josh Mandel because he is a Republican. I retrieved the following information from Newsbank through my local library:
• On November 2, 1986, the Dispatch endorsed Republican Thomas Kindness over incumbent Sen. John Glenn. John Glenn won re-election.
• The next election for U.S. Senate in 1992, the Dispatch (on November 1, 1992) endorsed Mike DeWine. DeWine waged an extremely negative campaign. John Glenn won re-election by over 414,119 (see Ohio Sec. of State).
Will Josh Mandel's extremely dirty campaign still get his endorsement from the Republican-loving Columbus Dispatch? What do you think?
