If Romney chooses....

Would you vote for a Romney - Portman ticket?

Both Romney and Portman are extremely wealthy and appear to have little interest in the needs of the middle class, the unemployed, the elderly, college students, the working poor, etc.
    USA Today
Mitt Romney's net worth has not significantly changed and remains between $190 million and $250 million, according to the Republican's presidential campaign......

Sen. Rob Portman is worth between $7 million and $20 million, making him one of the wealthiest members of the Ohio congressional delegation, according to financial disclosure documents filed this week.....

It would be difficult for Romney and Portman to say that they understand what people are going through given their wealth. Romney is clearly out of touch, especially when you consider his remarks like "...corporations are people..." and "....let Detroit go bankrupt..." Romney just doesn't get it about what Americans have experienced in the collapse of Wall Street, banks, and the collapse of the housing market.

Allowing someone in the White House that has made a fortune buying companies, firing longtime employees, taking their pensions, and closing those companies while reaping millions, and millions of dollars, would be wrong. Romney's Bain Capital destroyed families and communities.  There is nothing good that comes from destroying people's lives and getting richer in the process. That is avarice.
