While speaking at a Republican fundraiser in Montgomery County, Ohio, Boehner predicted that the Republicans will retake the House of Representatives.
Dayton Daily News:
....As minority leader in the House, Boehner would have an inside track, should the Republicans regain the majority, to become speaker of the House.
Should that happen, Boehner promised, “I will run the House differently. … I’m looking for the fine line between courage and stupidity. That’s the line I have to balance.”
Somehow Boehner's promise to run the House "...between courage and stupidity..." just doesn't inspire confidence at all. As a matter of fact, Boehner sounds just a bit bizarre.
Later, according to the DDN, Republican candidate for Ohio Secretary of State, Jon Husted (of Kettering and Upper Arlington), begged those GOPers in attendance to vote for him so that he can control the state redistricting:
Having Republicans and Husted controlling voting machines, voting rights (They've done it before---remember Blackwell?), absentee ballots, and the districts would be very, very scary.
