Republican Rep. Deborah Pryce (OH-15) claims she supports the troops. However, in a vote yesterday in the House of Representatives, Pryce showed her true colors when she voted against HR 3159 (Ensuring Military Readiness Through Stability and Predictability Deployment Policy Act). Pryce says she supports the troops when she has to appear in her campaign ads, but she does her best to vote against bills that support the health and well-being of our military and their families.
I am also sure that members and supporters of the Ohio Farm Bureau will be surprised that Pryce voted against two measures to help farmers. She voted twice against HRes 599 (Vote 799 and Vote 800) which, according to the Washington Post is described as Providing for Further Consideration of H.R. 3161, Making Appropriations for Agriculture, Rural Development, Food and Drug Administration, and Related Agencies Programs, Fy 2008.
In votes this week, Pryce has voted against health care for poor children and help for farmers. It looks like she is working for her defeat in the next election.
