Deborah Pryce Votes Against Children

Republican Rep. Deborah Pryce (OH-15) and 193 other Republicans voted against the Children's Health and Medicare Protection Act of 2007 (HR 3162 Vote 787). Pryce, who considers herself an advocate for children's health care, must have decided to abandon children so that she could vote with the other Republicans. According to the Washington Post, the following Republicans voted against the bill:

These people should be ashamed of themselves. These Republicans have been quite willing to provide Bush with blank checks for the war in Iraq without batting an eye, but they are not capable of standing up for the children of this country.

We will remember in November 2008 that these Republicans voted against the health of American children.
