The Road Ahead

With the primary out of the way, here is what we've learned from the primary:

*  The Ohio Republican presidential primary was closer than anyone ever imagined.

*  I've heard only good things about Sen. Sherrod Brown (OH-Democrat).  Ohioans know that he works hard for the middle class, and is often referred to as a champion of the middle class.  Sen. Sherrod Brown opposed Kasich's SB5.

Sen. Brown's challenger from the Republican Party will be Josh Mandel.
Mandel
---- supported SB 5,

---- doesn't appear to follow the news, (He hadn't heard about the outrage over Limbaugh's remarks.)

---- was against President Obama's successful plan to save the American auto industry,

......  said he is working on his own plan to rescue the auto industry???? Duh! (Hasn't he heard? President Obama already did that.)

---- has spent his time in his recently elected office as Ohio Treasurer, running for a new office.  He reportedly went on his first campaign trip just six weeks after taking office as treasurer.

---- has not attended one meeting of the Ohio Board of Deposits which is part of his department.  He has missed 14 meetings.

----- wants to drill in Ohio's state parks.

----- supports the Paul Ryan plan to obliterate Social Security and Medicare.

This is just the beginning.
