Josh Mandel's explanation sounds like a bunch of b.s. If an elected official is making that kind of money, that person has an obligation to attend meetings and fulfill the job requirements. Sending someone else that was not elected instead does not cut it.

*** Investors.com has an article about the continuing soap opera involving the power struggle within the Ohio GOP:
...this week chairmen of the state's seven largest county organizations, representing hundreds of thousands of GOP members across the crucial battleground state, wrote DeWine seeking his immediate resignation over "untenable and irreconcilable" differences.
They added: "For reasons unknown to us, you have been either unable or unwilling to find common ground to facilitate an effective and trusting relationship with our elected officials."
The likeliest showdown comes April 13 at the first state central committee meeting with the newly-elected anti-DeWine members.
Let the feud continue!!! We all know this is just about John Kasich's ego.
