New Group for Sherrod Brown

*  There is a new group supporting the re-election of U.S. Sen. Sherrod Brown.  The group, Veterans & Military Families for Sherrod Brown, was recently announced through the Friends of Sherrod Brown:

...Co-Chairs Sam Kindred, a retired Army Brigadier General, and Jeremy Miller, a Veteran of the Iraq war  announced their endorsement of Senator Brown today with the below statement:

“Senator Sherrod Brown is fighting every day in the Senate for our Veterans and military families and there’s no doubt he’s on the side of Ohio’s Veterans and those who care about them. Sen. Brown championed the Hiring Heroes Act to help ensure there are civilian jobs for Veterans when we return home,  supported the largest increase in Veterans funding in the history of our nation, and in times of great distress, made it easier for military families to cut through the bureaucratic red tape that unfortunately accompanies the loss of a loved one.

“Now more than ever Veterans across the state deserve a champion for Veteran’s rights in the U.S. Senate and they have one in Sherrod Brown. We must do all we can to ensure he can continue fighting for us in the years to come.”

What kind of proven record does Sen. Sherrod Brown have in support of veterans and military families?  You can see his record at this link.

>>>>>  The often absent Republican Ohio Treasurer, Josh Mandel, appears to like his dishonesty and admits he'll keep repeating the statements that have been debunked by Politifact.  The Washington Post has the story.  Why would someone be proud of lying and then continue to tell those lies???
