TGIF!!

GO BUCKEYES!  We were at the game last night in Ohio Stadium and it was very hot!  It was a terrific game with lots of excitement and traditions. The  TBDBITL Alumni Band  marched with The Ohio State University Marching and Athletic Bands.  The Alumni band had 600 participants, ranging in age from 21 to 95! OH-IO!

>>>  The far right Republicans, such as the anti-reproductive freedom Right-to-Lifers, are starting to question supporting Republican Steve Stivers, a former bank lobbyist, who is a congressional candidate in central Ohio.  With two other viable far right, anti-abortion candidates (David Ryon and Bill Kammerer), some Republicans think that supporting Stivers is the wrong thing to do.

* The New York Times has a story about the Republican News channel, AKA Fox News:  

The Democratic Governors Association filed an elections complaint on Thursday in Ohio alleging that the Fox News illegally helped the Republican nominee for governor solicit funds. The association says Fox allowed John Kasich to request contributions from viewers during an Aug. 18 broadcast and displayed the address of his campaign Web site. The complaint alleges the free publicity is an improper campaign contribution....

******  John Boehner will be doing his part to convince Americans that everything Democrats do is a job killer.  Boehner, who has been supported by lobbyists, bankers, and right wingers, is not someone who can be trusted.  Boehner has continued to block progress.  What does Boehner have to offer???  Boehner is proposing the same failed Bush policies.

* The Guardian:
Fears that the world's largest economy is spiralling back into recession eased today as US unemployment data came in stronger than expected....
....The private sector, regarded as a key barometer of the economic outlook, added 67,000 jobs rather than the 41,000 forecast.
Following the data, the FTSE 100 rose by more than 1% to 5438, while stock market futures point to a strong rise when Wall Street....
