Lobby School????

* Big news!  Rep. Mary Jo Kilroy (OH-15th) will receive the coveted endorsement of the League of Conservation Voters (LCV) Action Fund today, September 2nd, at 9:45am, at Greenovate, 9 E. 2nd Avenue, Columbus.  Rep. Kilroy has always been an advocate for the environment.  Today, LCV Action Fund President Gene Karpinski, Tyler Steele, and Rep. Kilroy will discuss clean energy and its importance to job creation.  See you there!

***  Did you know that you can become a bank lobbyist like Republican candidate, Steve Stivers?  Believe it or not, there is a "Lobby School" in Florida, where they can, according to learn-to-lobby.com, "....help you get an appropriation or legislation to advance your group's interests or disadvantage a key competitor....."

On the page that Lobby School uses to show their previous attendees, their extensive list includes a name familiar to residents of central Ohio:
- Bank One Corp

What a coincidence!  I wonder if.........

* I wonder what part of Ohio's government the Republican Kasich-Taylor team will announce as their next target to eliminate:  the Department of Education or state parks or some other agency??????  Kasich, an advocate for free trade is also a proponent of out sourcing jobs.  Would he send our jobs to another state?

*******  The good people at Plunderbund remind us that----

....Last week, Steve Stivers claimed he was FOR embryonic stem cell research despite his vote in the State Senate to ban funding for it.
Today, Stivers attacked Kilroy over her support for cap-and-trade.....

....The only problem? Two years ago, Stivers ran on a platform promoting cap-and-trade as a free-market solution to global warming, according to the Columbus Dispatch......

Steve Stivers has flip flopped again!
