* We know that Republican candidate, Steve Stivers, a former "top" bank lobbyist, once proposed a bill to exempt insurance agents from ethics laws (
Dispatch). Stivers is against the health reform, bank regulation, lowering the interest rates of payday lenders, citizens having the right to directly elect their own U.S. Senators, ethics laws for insurance agents, consumer protection, etc., etc. Why does Stivers continue to support banks and businesses over the rights of individuals? It just doesn't seem right to me.
