Even More Ohio Politics

>> Democratic candidate for Ohio's 15th district, Mary Jo Kilroy, has been getting lots of support from voters and the Democratic Congressional Committee. Recent polls have shown Kilroy slightly ahead of the Republican candidate. The Kilroy campaign has been hitting the Republican's strong ties to banks, given his many years as a bank lobbyist and contributions from BankPac. In these tough economic times, people don't need to send someone to Congress who wants to protect banks.

Kilroy also wants to end the war in Iraq. Her Republican opponent------ not so much. He likes Bush's Iraq war plan which is everlasting war.

> A story on a local TV station got my attention. A reporter was interviewing people and asked if they had made up their minds about their presidential pick. One man said that he had always voted Republican, but this year he can't afford it. He must have checked the Obama tax cut site where he saw how much he'd save with Obama's plan.

> Recent presidential polls have shown Barack Obama ahead in Ohio. As we've seen in the past, we can never underestimate the Republicans' attempts to steal this election. Be vigilant. If you haven't voted yet, make sure that you vote early on election day. Vote for Obama. Vote for change.

> Looks like Bush favorite, Republican Rep. Steve Chabot (OH-1st) is in an extremely tight race. Will Chabot's support of Bush's policies finally end his congressional career?
