Central Ohio Notes

> Word has it that Ohio Republicans are extremely worried about losing votes in Ohio's 15th congressional district. An article in the Columbus Dispatch indicates that one particular independent candidate could cut into the vote totals for Ohio 15th congressional race. Don Eckhart, an independent, has secured endorsements from anti-reproductive freedom groups. Eckhart's right wing beliefs could pull votes away from former bank lobbyist and Republican, Steve Stivers.

In the last election, Democrat Mary Jo Kilroy lost by just over 1,000 votes. If Stivers loses votes to Eckhart and another Libertarian candidate, Kilroy could win this district.

Call Steve Stivers' office (614) 358-0800 and tell him to stop the smears and lies against Kilroy.

> In my discussion with neighbors and friends, I've noticed that those supporting Obama are highly motivated voters. Many have volunteered, voted early or by absentee ballot, and attended Obama rallies. There is a real enthusiasm for Obama and change.
