Ohioans Looking at Dems for Leadership

There are more and more Ohioans who are looking for a way out of the mess that the Republicans have created in this state. I spoke with someone who described himself as a moderate Republican. He said he was very angry at the GOP and embarrassed at their lack of real leadership and the corruption which has spread through the Republican Party. Ouch!

There has been significant growth in membership in Democratic leaning organizations in Worthington, Upper Arlington, and other progressive groups in central Ohio. I am hopeful that more and more people will join these groups and inspire their neighbors to vote for a new direction in our state and in our nation. The future of our state and country depends on the change of leadership.

Note: The successful write-in votes for Democrat Charlie Wilson (OH-6th), shows that people are willing to put in that extra mile to support a Democratic candidate. The Athens News has the details.

I'm sure that those two sites will be big hits with the people in Florida.

Breaking News: Porter Goss has resigned his position as CIA Director. Goss served for just over one year. No explanation was given at the announcement, but there is plenty of speculation. Was he upset that Negroponte got the job he wanted? Is Goss tied to the Duke Cunningham-Watergate Hooker scandal or something else? Raw Story has been following up all the possible connections.
