Dublin's Central Ohio Innovation Center is slated to get $750,000 from the fiscal 2007 energy and water development appropriations bill passed by the House Appropriations Committee.
However, it is important that we read this: The spending bill still needs to pass the whole House of Representatives and Senate...Republican Reps. Pryce and Tiberi were bragging about their big accomplishment, however, it still needs to pass the whole House of Representatives and Senate!
By the way, did taxpayers ever get reimbursed for the $700,000 for police overtime involving the investigation of the 2004 highway sniper in Franklin County? Do you remember this from the Dispatch?
As I talk to neighbors and friends who all live in the 15th district, we've been wondering why we haven't seen much of Deborah Pryce in her home district. Is she campaigning here in town? Where is she raising her campaign money---golf outings, trips to Hawaii???? Why is she keeping such a low profile in this campaign?
