The Toledo Blade has yet another story about 2 of Governor Taft's former aides, Doug Talbott and Doug Moorman. Here is an excerpt:
"... Along the way, Mr. Talbott, the political guy, and Mr. Moormann, the policy wonk, became close friends. They also shared a friend: Tom Noe.
And finally, Mary Anne Sharkey, who previously worked for Ohio Governor Taft, said this: "This corruption is truly hurting Ohio economically," Ms. Sharkey said. "Businesses don't want to invest here. The state has a reputation for being corrupt. It's becoming like New Jersey." (NOTE: If you are from New Jersey, you may wish to ask Ms. Sharkey for an apology.)
Now we have someone who has admitted the truth---Republican corruption has hurt the state and businesses are staying away. It is clear that the Republicans have done far more damage than we could have ever imagined.
