I received a robocall from "Newt Gingrich and the Conservative Presidential Coalition" (an organization that is part of the far right, anti-women, anti-equal pay, anti-workers' rights political action group). I couldn't hang up fast enough. I wonder what the far right, holier than thou, Newt Gingrich and his ilk would have said. Needless to say, I'm not interested in their b.s.
Now that DOMA has been ruled unconstitutional, the right wing nut jobs have raised their cockeyed, far out, insane, voices yet again. Shame on anyone that is against equality.
Ohio Gov. Kasich has a history of opposing marriage equality for same sex partners. As a member of the House of Representatives, Kasich also voted to ban gay adoptions in Washington, DC. He also supports an amendment to "prevent same sex marriage." (Link)
Kasich doesn't seem to care about equality for women. Kasich's view of women and the work that they do, does not appear to encompass work outside the home. Here is a snippet from one of Kasich speeches when he appeared with Mitt Romney in Ohio.

In the world of most Republicans and Kasich, womenfolk have to do the laundry, scrub the floors, have babies, keep quiet, and stay out of politics. Frankly, I believe that Kasich and the GOP can flush their Neanderthal ideas down the toilet.
