Why would you vote against it?

>Why would Republican Rep. Deborah Pryce (OH-15) be against the Freedom of Information Act? Pryce voted NO, according to the Washington Post, on Vote 144: HR [1309 To promote openness in Government by strengthening section 552 of title 5, United States Code (commonly referred to as the Freedom of Information Act), and for other purposes.] Thankfully, it passed, but it was without Pryce's support.

>Those Republicans and Lieberman must get their talking points and vocabulary lists early in the morning. If you recall, a few days ago, the Republicans used the phrase "slow bleed" which they falsely attributed to Democrats. Now the word used by the Republicans and Lieberman is "micromanage." In speeches and in front of the press, large numbers of Republicans said Democrats want to "micromanage" the war. I think the Republicans want to "micromanage" the discussion about the war.

It is becoming very clear to Americans that Republicans want Bush's war in Iraq to continue and Democrats want to bring our troops home.
If Americans clearly want a new direction for this country, they'll have to vote for a Democratic President, a Democratic Representative, and a Democratic Senator.
