Numbers

Ohio's unemployment rate has increased and more people are losing jobs.

ColumbusCEO:

The unemployment rate in Ohio ticked higher last month as a broad swath of industries cut jobs, according to state figures released this morning.
The unemployment rate rose to 7.3 percent in August from 7.2 percent in July. The 7.3 percent rate is the highest unemployment rate in more than a year.

The number of unemployed workers rose by 3,000 last month to 419,000, according to the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services.......

According to the Ohio Department of Jobs and Family Services Warn page, another company, Masco Cabinetry, has announced that it will lay off 186 people.  Gov. John Kasich has claimed that there is an "Ohio miracle" happening because of his administration. There is no "miracle" only misery.  Someone is making money, and unfortunately, it is not the people of Ohio. It appears that the only groups profiting from state money being given out by JobsOhio are corporations that promise, but don't deliver the jobs.

Where are the jobs, Gov. Kasich?
