Voinovich

* Why did Sen. George Voinovich vote against legislation that would allow women to have their preventive medical procedures paid for by their insurance companies? According to the U.S. Senate website, Voinovich voted (Senate Vote 00355) against ---Mikulski Amdt. 2791 As Amended; To clarify provisions relating to first dollar coverage for preventive services for women. This is very pathetic, Voinovich. Apparently, Voinovich doesn't think women want and need mammograms, pap tests, and other preventive procedures to be paid for by their health insurance. What is wrong with Voinovich? Doesn't he care about women's health issues?

>>>> Speaking of Voinovich......Cleveland.com has this----

Despite rumors louder than a Tea Party rally, U.S. Sen. George Voinovich is ... wait for it ... NOT running for Cuyahoga County executive.

The two-term senator, who is retiring at the end of next year, is still planning to retire from elected office. Period. So says his spokeswoman Garrette Silverman, who's well aware of the all the chatter about the county job.....

Huh? Doesn't the Cuyahoga County Republican Party have any new, younger, men or women in their party? Do they have to turn to the same old politicians for multiple party positions? Haven't we had enough of Voinovich?????
