Crime Lab to Get Funding

Things are progressing. Rep. Mary Jo Kilroy made an announcement recently that will certainly help law enforcement.
Dispatch:

The Columbus police crime lab is so cramped that there isn't enough room to conduct tests on some of the forensic evidence collected by investigators....
....The city is a step closer to correcting the problem. Congress approved an appropriations bill last week that includes $300,000 to begin design work on a new crime lab and property room. President Barack Obama is expected to sign the bill.

Public Safety officials and U.S. Rep. Mary Jo Kilroy of Columbus touted the funding yesterday during a tour of the current crime lab at 520 King Ave., which they called crowded and outdated.....

I'm sure that those working in the crime lab are excited about the improvements.
