Inquiring Minds Want To Know

It appears that the website that provides information about registered lobbyists in the state of Ohio is having difficulty with all the requests for information on Republican Steve Stivers (candidate for Ohio's 15th district).
Perhaps you'll have better luck later. In the meantime, if you wish to find the papers and reports that Stivers has filed, follow the information below:

1. Visit: http://www.jlec-olig.state.oh.us/
2. When the "Lobbying Center" page opens, look to the right on the page for the heading "Public Information"
3. Click on "Lobbyist Forms Filed 1991 to Present"
4. On the next page that opens, type in Stivers where it says Search by Lobbying Agent.
5. The next page will say Agents Found and Stivers, Steven E will pop up.

(****Note: Apparently, too many people want to see these reports, and their website seems to be unable to fulfill the search requests at this time.)

The bottom line is this: Steve Stivers was a LOBBYIST for Bank One. He worked as a lobbyist as he visited various offices within the state government. Even today, he has bank investments which allow him to profit. So when I've previously said that Stivers' support of bills helped his banking friends, I was right.
