Do most Catholics support more war and suffering?

I don't think that most Catholics support unending war and suffering.

The group called Roman Catholics for Obama has had a presence in the Obama for President campaign.
Not to be outdone, the Republicans had to come out with a group for Republican Catholics who support McCain for President. You won't be surprised about the members of this committee. According to earnedmedia.org, 'The National Catholics for McCain Committee' is a newly formed group to support the candidacy of John McCain.

>>Here is a list of some of the members: (These people support Bush and McCain's unending war.)
Republican House Leader John Boehner, Ohio
Former U.S. Senator Mike DeWine, Ohio
Representative Lincoln Diaz-Balart, Florida
Representative Mario Diaz-Balart, Florida
Former U.S. Secretary of State Alexander Haig, Washington, DC
Representative Ray LaHood, Illinois
Representative Dan Lungren, California
U.S. Senator Mel Martinez, Florida
Representative Jean Schmidt, Ohio
Representative Pat Tiberi, Ohio

There are other names on the list, but they are all Republicans who have participated in GOP administrations or worked for Republicans in other capacities.

Apparently, they've forgotten the first line of the Prayer of St. Francis of Assisi:
Lord, make me an instrument of your peace.
