More Baloney from Ohio GOP

- If you need an example of the all white male Ohio Republican Party, take a look at the picture posted at the News-Register. This is sad. Is there any diversity in the Ohio GOP or do they just like to keep it all white and all male?

Here is a part of the article from the News-Register:

"We are offering Ohioans - all 11.5 million of them - the best qualified, most conservative slate of candidates that we've had in this generation," said Kevin DeWine, Ohio GOP chairman, who served as master of ceremonies. "The candidates are all pro-life, pro-family and pro-liberty."

I have a few questions for Mr. Kevin DeWine, Ohio GOP leader:

1. Did a majority of the people in Ohio say they needed more conservative candidates and office holders in Ohio?

2. Are Republicans pro-family? For example, Kevin DeWine and Jon Husted are divorced. Is divorce pro-family?

3. Why do the white, male, Republicans want to decide on matters concerning a woman's uterus? You say the GOP is pro-life, but the GOP is against issues that help sustain people. Ohio Democrats are pro-life ----- they want all people (not just rich white people) to have a good quality of life in Ohio.

4. Since when are the Ohio Republicans pro-liberty? Wasn't it the Republican Party that denied people the right to vote, miscounted votes, and allowed George W. Bush to "win" Ohio? How was that pro-liberty? Didn't one Republican, a Mr. Matt Damschroder, take a bribe from the Diebold voting machine people (see BradBlog)? How is that pro-liberty? How is having closed, secret counting of votes pro-liberty? How is having someone like David Yost run for office when he tried to block the recount of votes?

5. Did you know that the loss of jobs had nothing to do with Gov. Strickland? The financial and budget policies of the Bush administration and the carelessness of companies like John Kasich's Lehman Brothers caused the recession we are experiencing---- not Ted Strickland. How do you expect Ohioans to vote for Rob Portman, the architect of the Bush budget????

6. How is Jon Husted pro-liberty? He lives in Upper Arlington, but represents Kettering? Is he really and truly representing the views of the people of Kettering? He doesn't even spend enough time with his constituents to know what they think. Even though the Republican Ohio Supreme Court said he "lives" in Kettering for voting purposes, we all know he doesn't care about the people of Kettering. He abandoned them, just like he abandoned his spider web filled home in Kettering. It is a sham and so is he. Paying those traffic tickets out of his campaign funds was against campaign finance law.
