Husted Slow to Respond to Tea Party Racism

> Some local politicians have withdrawn from a planned tea party event.

Newstalkradiowhio:

...Lawrence Budd of the Dayton Daily News reports State Sen. Shannon Jones cites "racially insensitive remarks" on an organizer's web site for her decision. A spokesperson also says she will no longer affiliated herself with the organization.

Jones was appointed to the senate seat in August. The Republican from Clearcreek Township is running against Michelle Schneider, a former state representative from Madeira, for the seat.

At issue are what her spokesperson termed "really racially insensitive" comments about Hispanics on a Twitter site maintained by Sonny Thomas, organizer of the rally....

Will other Republicans continue to support Sonny Thomas and his teabaggers? Why did it take Jon Husted so long to decide not to attend the tea party event? How much racism is acceptable to Husted?

>>> Why do the Republicans and John Boehner want to deny women health coverage? It seems to me, that Boehner and his big shot, Republican, old, white men don't understand women's health issues and they seem to have no compassion for women.

DailyKos:

The GOP's assault on women in light of the health insurance reform law may have started with a special ops attack on nursing mothers, but Minority Leader Boehner has just significantly expanded the theater of operations......

Now you see why a majority of women support Democratic candidates. Republicans continue to have a pre-historic regard for women.

**** Even though Republican, right winger Rep. Patrick McHenry of North Carolina wants to put Ronald Reagan's picture on a $50 bill, some people are speaking out against it. Some Ohioans are against this idea to take off Grant and put on Reagan, according to the Marion Star.

In my opinion, Ronald Reagan wasn't such a good President and I don't think he should be on any of our currency. There was the contra war, the failure of the Reagan economics program, the larger disparity between rich and poor, and the huge, huge, huge, debt left by Reagan. Reagan left a mess.

**** I think Kasich should release the rest of his tax returns. If he has nothing to hide, he needs to make them public. Does he have something to hide?
