While Gov. John Kasich plans to make major cuts in education, Medicaid, care for the elderly, and every state agency, etc., he certainly knows how to spend money.
DaytonDailyNews:
Records show a meeting called last month by Gov. John Kasich cost the Ohio Environmental Protection Agency more than $5,000.
Documents obtained by The Associated Press show the EPA spent almost $4,300 in transportation costs and an estimated $1,150 in other venue charges for the Columbus meeting.
All 1,200 EPA employees — including those from two hours away — were encouraged to attend the Jan. 21 meeting to hear the governor's vision for the agency....
How much money would it have cost for a conference call? Someone needs to tell Kasich that he isn't on Wall Street and he isn't a king.
