Gov. John Kasich was in Cleveland where he let business leaders know that there are many things wrong in Ohio. Naturally, he went after the usual suspects:
Ideastream:
...Speaking at a lunch event held by the Greater Cleveland Partnership, Kasich covered little new ground, instead reiterating the message he’s delivered since taking office – that Ohio needs to get its economic mojo back with new thinking that lowers income taxes, changes zoning regulations for businesses and streamlines the government....
.....He also repeated his plans to change the collective bargaining law in Ohio and limit the power of public employee unions.
Kasich: “I believe that by giving management more control, eliminating the right to strike, and eliminating binding arbitration it will help our communities.”
Wow. Sounds like Kasich would like to return to the days before workers had rights, weekends, benefits, days off, etc. Isn't that why workers organized in the first place?
