Project Vote Smart reported that Stivers voted against the Disability Scholarship fund (SB 57).[2] This bill would provide "scholarships for disabled children in grades pre-kindergarten through 12 to attend alternative public or private special education programs."[3] The bill ended up passing 17-15.[4]

Essentially, this bill would protect consumers, and yet Stivers voted against it. Did Stivers vote against it because he likes/supports/sympathizes with banks and financial/lending institutions over the rights of consumers? Once a bank lobbyist, always a bank lobbyist????? Just asking.
