* The consequences of not talking to our enemies has become evident today with the new Iran missile test. While Bush has only concentrated on creating an unnecessary war in Iraq, the rest of the world has been ignored. McCain fully subscribes to this Bush plan of not talking with enemies. Iran has test-fired nine missiles in response to what it says are threats from Israel and the United States, state-run Iranian media says.

* It appears that John McCain has difficulty with the teleprompter. I was reminded of a State of the Union speech that President Clinton gave many years ago when his teleprompter broke down in the middle of his speech. Since Clinton had written most of the speech himself, he was able to continue speaking without any problems. I don't think that McCain would be able to do as well.
