Again to San Francisco???

*** Ooooops!  Hotline On Call noticed the article about the hiring practices of Ohio Treasurer Josh Mandel, Republican candidate for Senate:

...Not a good item for Josh Mandel: The Dayton Daily News reports that Mandel hired young, relatively inexperienced 2010 campaign staffers for high-ranking positions in the state treasurer's office. Mandel slammed his predecessor and 2010 Democratic opponent for tapping political connections to key positions.
The review showed that Mandel put qualified, experienced staff members in some top positions, but also hired six campaign workers whose average age is 26 and assigned them duties ranging from debt management to policy-advising to community outreach....

This shows Josh Mandel's poor decision-making.  Hiring his buddies, friends, and campaign workers for jobs for which none were qualified, makes you wonder if this guy thought he was bringing in workers for a pizza shop instead of the office of Ohio Treasurer.  Mandel's talking points include how the Treasurer's office was recognized by national groups.  However, how could his office deserve such accolades after such a short time?  Shouldn't some of those positive evaluations be given to his predecessor, Kevin Boyce, who managed the Treasurer's office through a national recession that was almost as bad as The Depression?

*** Josh Mandel must certainly love San Francisco!  If you recall, Josh Mandel visited the Bay Area GOP on December 5, 2011 for a reception held in his honor. However, Mandel returned to San Francisco to the Bay Area GOP on March 26, 2012, for another fundraiser!

>>>> Sen. Jim DeMint is being criticized for something he did recently, according to the Charlotte Observer:

...Unlike in the last election cycle, Sen. Jim DeMint of South Carolina is maintaining a low profile as he appears to fulfill a promise to Senate Republican leaders that he won’t oppose any sitting GOP senators through his Senate Conservatives Fund....

....Team DeMint, the South Carolina Republican’s campaign political action committee, last month transferred $500,000 to Club for Growth, an influential free market advocacy group based in Washington with longstanding close ties to DeMint....

.....DeMint’s Senate Conservatives Fund has given a total of $2 million to Republican challengers Josh Mandel, who won Ohio’s March 6 primary, Ted Cruz of Texas, Don Stenberg of Nebraska and Mark Neumann of Wisconsin....

Since Josh Mandel appears so close to DeMint, does that mean that Mandel has the same agenda as DeMint regarding civil rights, the minimum wage, women's rights, etc.????
