There he goes again...

* There he goes again. Republican Rep. Steve Stivers (OH-15) is holding office hours for constituents, but not in Columbus, Upper Arlington, or Worthington, which are all currently in his district.

The Madison Press:

Congressman Steve Stivers (R-Columbus) will be in London for office hours from 6-8 p.m. in Monday, Jan. 9, at the Madison County Chamber of Commerce, 730 Keny Blvd., London....

Stivers continues to avoid the majority of his district.  Is he afraid of us?  Obviously, Stivers still hasn't delivered the jobs he promised.  He has, however, been the best thing that ever happened for bankers, stock brokers, insurance companies, and Wall Street.  He has their backs, while the rest of us wonder when he'll deliver for constituents.

>>>>>  Did you know that Ohio Republican candidate for Senate Josh Mandel was the primary sponsor of only 4 bills while he served in the Ohio House of Representatives?  In the 128th General Assembly, Mandel and Jay Goyal sponsored HB 123 (there are no recorded votes on HB 123) and HB 171 (HB 171 never came up for a vote).   Both HB 123 and HB 171 were assigned to a committee, but nothing else happened to his legislation.

Mandel's activity in the 127th session, wasn't any more significant with only 2 bills sponsored, HB 151 (there was no vote on HB 151) and HB 644 (there was never a vote taken on HB 644). HB 151 and HB 644 never came before the entire Ohio House for a vote.

Seriously, Mandel is a lightweight in the area of legislative experience. How can he hold a candle to the work and experience of Sen. Sherrod Brown?  Here is Sen. Sherrod Brown's work experience (bio from Brown website): former U.S. Congressman, former Ohio Secretary of State, served in Ohio General Assembly, former public school teacher, and taught at the Ohio State University.....

Sen. Sherrod Brown has always stood with Ohio's middle class, and was a strong supporter for the repeal of SB 5. He stood with Ohio's teachers, firefighters, nurses, police officers, and state workers.

Josh Mandel is strongly supported by right wingers like Sen. Jim DeMint. We're known by the company we keep.
