More Layoffs and Kasich's Friend

*  There have been more layoffs posted at the Warn Notice page at the Ohio Department of Jobs and Family Services:

1/10/2012  Macy's Parma (Cuyahoga County) - Number Affected = 127
1/10/2012 CSC     Beavercreek (Greene County) - Number Affected = 114

(These two companies above should be added to the layoffs of 173 people at Diversapack of Monroe, LLC, and 93 individuals at Xanterra Parks & Resorts (see ODJF).)

We're not even half way through the month and Gov. John Kasich's "job creation" has already produced over 500 layoffs since the beginning of 2012.

*  Mitt Romney and Gov. John Kasich must be old friends judging by the video and pictures posted at Mitt Romney Central.  Any friend of Kasich's is not a friend of mine.....

***  The movie When Mitt Romney Came to Town is now online here.

Think Progress has a graph from Citizens for Tax Justice that shows how the Republican presidential candidates would give tax cuts.  All of the Republicans would give huuuuuuuuuggge tax cuts to the top 1%.

Think Progress:

Although Willard Mitt Romney calls it envy, it is really about fairness.  Republicans are not interested in fairness.

*****  OMG!  Would the Kasich administration withhold federal funds for STD prevention in Cincinnati over stupid stuff and give it to GOP-controlled Hamilton County?  It looks like that is exactly what happened according to a story in CityBeat
