Tiberi

As the Republicans remain unable to create a positive agenda for everyday Americans, it appears that they will waste our time trying to repeal the health care reform law.

Insurance News net:

U.S. Congressman Pat Tiberi (R-OH) announced his cosponsorship of a bill that would repeal the government takeover of health care and replace it with common sense solutions that would actually lower the cost of health care, expand access regardless of pre-existing conditions and keep Washington bureaucrats from making your health care decisions. The Reform Americans Can Afford Act (H.R.5424) was introduced by Congressman Wally Herger (R-CA), and is cosponsored by Republican Leader John Boehner (R-OH) and other members of the House Republican leadership....

If you look over the highlights of Tiberi's proposal, they are the same cockamamie health talking points supported by Boehner and the Republicans months ago. This is nothing new --- just the same old broken, re-hashed, brainless crap the Republican tried earlier. This must have been a bill given to Tiberi by Boehner to pump up Tiberi's legislative list of sponsored and cosponsored bills. There are many people in Ohio's 12th district who will not be happy with Tiberi's proposal.

* Today is June 7th, 2010, and I'm just wondering...... Has Republican Steve Stivers suggested any additional Amendments to the Constitution that he'd like to repeal? Since Stivers has supported the repeal of the 16th and 17th Amendments, I'm sure he must have other Amendments he'd like to repeal.

Did you know that Steve Stivers, a former State Senator, supports insurance companies paying for Viagra but not birth control pills? (Steve Stivers is a former bank lobbyist.)
