Warning Today for Columbus

Just when you thought it was safe.............
John McCain and Sarah Palin will be in Columbus today at Noon. Tickets are still available. Of, course, tickets are still available.

>>>> Looks like Republican candidate for Congress, Steve Stivers, a former bank lobbyist, is getting lots of love and contributions from some notable PACs. Here are a few of the PACs that are throwing money to Stivers (from Federal Elections Commission):

Chevron Employee PAC
Coal PAC
BankPAC
AEP
Ashland
Fifth Third
ExxonMobil PAC
First Energy
Grange Mutual PAC
Halliburton Company PAC
HSBC PAC
Huntington PAC
JP Morgan Chase PAC
Keycorp Advocates Fund
KPMG PAC
Marathon Oil PAC
National City PAC
RJ Reynolds
Etc.

Stivers, a former bank lobbyist, is going to owe these PAC contributors for their support. These PACs (oil, banks, insurance, tobacco, coal, energy) are going to expect that their investment in Stivers will pay dividends if he is elected to Congress. Is that what we need----- a former bank lobbyist protecting the rights of oil companies, banks, tobacco, coal, and energy companies?
