Expecting More

When the House of Representatives returns to work this week, what should we expect from our member of Congress, Deborah Pryce (OH-15)? So far in 2007, Pryce has sponsored 2 bills, according to GovTrack:

Introduced
Mar
H.R. 1553: Conquer Childhood Cancer Act of 2007
Introduced
Mar
H.Res. 292: Expressing the sense of the House of Representatives that schools should celebrate National Garden Month through a curriculum that includes outdoor learning.
Her sponsorship of the cancer act is commendable. However, I wonder if the time and effort to sponsor a national garden month paid any dividends for the people in her district. It is a "nice" little bill, but it didn't do anything to bring jobs and economic development to our district. Shouldn't we expect more from our representative?
