Ohio's Public Employees Show Their Strength

Thousands of Ohioans rallied in front of the Statehouse in Columbus today to kick off the campaign to overturn SB 5.  People came in from all over the state to show their opposition to the Kasich and Republican plan to end collective bargaining in Ohio.

Mike Duffey, a newly elected member of the Ohio House, had this to say, according to the Dispatch:

...Rep. Mike Duffey of Worthington, one of the first-year Republicans whose vote was critical to passing Senate Bill 5, said opponents will have a tough time convincing voters to overturn a law that "is a restoration of power to the taxpayers and to the voters."

Really?  Sounds like Duffey has definitely decided to go along with his party in destroying Ohio's middle class and destroying the quality of Worthington Schools.

>>>>  I wonder how the parents of Blue Ribbon Award winner, Dublin Jerome High School, will feel when they find out that their school is losing 31.5% of its budget.  John Kasich plans to cut over $8 million from Dublin Jerome's funding. (see Plunderbund for more details).
