While Kasich promotes himself....

It is no secret that Gov. John Kasich has been promoting himself and the non-existent 'Ohio miracle.' Unfortunately, Kasich's focus has left the state continues to lose more jobs. The good people at Plunderbund have the details:

...While Gov. Kasich has been away pushing a federal balanced budget amendment and unsuccessfully trying to boost his name recognition, which hoovers barely above zero, Goodyear, headquartered in Ohio, decided to go play in another country. Since Congressman Kasich voted for NAFTA, he shouldn’t have been surprised to learn the company said it will build its new $550 million state-of-the-art tire plant in Mexico instead of Akron....

Kasich seems to be unable to save jobs like the 1000 that disappeared at Ormet, but he is capable of giving money to CEO cronies to keep 10-30 jobs. It just doesn't make sense.  The jobs that have come to Ohio are low paying (as in Walmart), and part-time. You cannot support a family on a minimum wage, part-time job. Period.

Silly Kasich

Gov. John Kasich is waiting for a message from God, according to Plunderbund, before he decides whether to run for President. Give me a break! Ohio is a mess with continued job losses, cuts to communities and schools.  Kasich touts an 'Ohio miracle' in his speeches, but he is full of baloney.  Kasich and his 'trickle down' economics have only helped the rich get richer.

Plunderbund has a great headline:

'Kasich Extends Subpar Job Growth to 29 Months'

Kasich hasn't delivered the jobs to Ohio. Period.

One more thing.......
Kasich hasn't caught up on the news------ there is no Soviet Union anymore:

Worth Reading

Ohio voters are voicing their opinions!

HuffPost:

Ohio's 2016 Senate race looks competitive. Republicans nationwide prefer a candidate who avoids a no-tax-hike pledge. And wording matters more than usual for the Indiana 'religious freedom' law. This is HuffPollster for Monday, April 6, 2015.

SENATE 2016: STRICKLAND LEADS IN OHIO Quinnipiac University: "In the 2016 U.S. Senate race in Ohio, former Gov. Ted Strickland, the Democrat, leads Republican incumbent U.S. Sen. Rob Portman 48 - 39 percent. Independent voters back the Democrat 50 - 32 percent… Ohio voters approve 49 - 23 percent of the job Portman is doing and give him a 38 - 18 percent favorability rating. Strickland has a 49 - 29 percent favorability rating, while 89 percent of voters haven't heard enough about [potential Democratic challenger P.G.] Sittenfeld to form an opinion of him. Voters approve 52 - 27 percent of the job U.S. Sen. Sherrod Brown is doing. Ohio Gov. John Kasich gets a 61 - 28 percent job approval rating, continuing his trend as one of the highest-ranked governors in any of the nine states surveyed by Quinnipiac University." [Quinnipiac]

Ohioans might have been upset about how Portman signed that crazy letter to Iran.

Ted Strickland is a wonderful man. He actually cares about middle class Ohioans. Portman--- not so much.

> Hmmmm. If you lie on voter registration material, can you be charged with fraud?

DailyKos:
In a 2009 voter-registration application, obtained from the Miami-Dade County Elections Department, Mr. Bush marked Hispanic in the field labeled "race/ethnicity."
And why would Bush III do that? Innocent mistake? Pathetic pandering?
A Bush spokeswoman could offer no explanation for the characterization....

Strange.  I wonder what would have happened if an average person did this?
