* Here is a blast from the past from the Sunday Times-Sentinel (November 27, 1983) found at Google News Archives that shows that Ohio's Republicans voted against the Equal Rights Amendment in 1983. Those Republicans included John Kasich and, of course, Mike DeWine. Kasich and DeWine were against the rights of women then, and they are still doing their part to suppress the voices and rights of women, men, public employees, the elderly, the poor, and the college students.
* Ohio's Republicans would prefer if you wouldn't vote this November. They would prefer it if you wouldn't object to their anti-middle class initiatives. They want you to stay quiet about the fracking in public parks and lands. They don't want you to object to the water and air pollution that results because of fracking. They want you to keep quiet if methane appears in your water and you can light up your faucet.
However, if you want to send a message to Gov. John Kasich and the Republicans that you won't stand by and let them destroy Ohio's middle class, get out there and vote. Vote NO on Issues 1, 2, and 3. Let Kasich and his enablers know that we're sick of his anti-worker agenda. We're tired of his anti-public school agenda which has cut fund to public schools and given more money to failing charter schools. We don't want our first responders, teachers, nurses, and public workers to be subjected to the draconian cuts that would put their lives in danger, and threaten the security of their families.
Vote NO on Issues 1, 2, 3.
