Voters' Frustration?

Ohio's congressional races are bringing lots of attention to the Buckeye state. Many believe that if Democrats are going to get a majority, it will be the result of Republican losses in Ohio. The Amherst Times has an article about Ohio's importance in the November elections.

In yesterday's Columbus Dispatch, a letter to the editor reveals voters' frustration with Republican Rep. Pryce (OH-15). Here is part of the letter:

For years we thought that America was all about democracy, freedom, justice and equality. But U.S. Rep. Deborah Pryce, R-Upper Arlington, has now set us straight. Profit is "what America’s all about," according to her quoted remark in the April 28 Dispatch article "Big Oil in congressional cross hairs."

Or to phrase it a little differently, "Greed, it’s the American way." Right, Ms. Pryce?

Volz, Ney's former chief of staff, admits to receiving all sorts of bribes while he was still with Ney, and then turning around and taking part in the bribing once he moved over to work with Abramoff.....
