College Students Won't Like Ohio GOPers for This Vote

College students should rejoice at this news---- Dispatch:

The House voted yesterday in favor of the biggest overhaul of college-aid programs since their creation in the 1960s -- a bill to oust private lenders from the student-loan business and put the government in charge.

The vote was 253-171 in favor of a bill that fulfills nearly all of President Barack Obama's campaign promises for higher education: The measure ends subsidies for private lenders, boosts Pell Grants for needy students and creates grant programs to improve community colleges and graduation rates, among other things.....

The bill now goes to the Senate. I guess that some people (Republicans) do not understand what it means to have college loans looming over your head when you graduate. Even President and Mrs. Obama had large college loans that they paid back after their educations were completed.

I'm sure you are curious as to which Ohio U.S. Representatives would vote against a bill that helps college students. Here are the names of those that said "NO!" to those in college-----

Roll Call Vote 719- Office of the Clerk:
Ohio Republicans------ Austria, Boehner, Jordan, LaTourette, Latta, Schmidt, Tiberi.

The Republicans just can't understand why young people are turning and running away from the Republican Party.
